MARK ZUCKERBERG MADE GOOD CASE FOR NIGERIA AND AFRICAN

MARK ZUCKERBERG MADE GOOD CASE FOR NIGERIA AND AFRICA
Gone are the days when racially inclined western tabloid painted Africa especially Nigeria darker than darkest pot.
If they are not peddling rumours to their hapless readers/viewers/listeners about how people in Africa live in caves and on tree tops, they will be telling them how dangerous our streets are. To the extent that America that is supposed to know better having arrogated the title of a FRIEND to themselves (but having entirely different concept of that word) will go on air to announce that their citizens should not visit certain areas of a country even when there is no reason to do so. However, what they refuse to tell their citizens is that even America is more dangerous than the most dangerous part of Nigeria because no day passes without incidence of murder and careless behaviour in the US.
The visit of Mark Zuckerberg (the 6th wealthiest man in the world) to Nigeria has helped to shame our image detractors. Reuben Abati in the Guardian puts it this way:
"Zuckerberg helped to show the rest of the world that Nigeria is not bad at all, and that something really exciting is happening here among the country's young population. He had no bodyguards. He did not have to hire a lorry load of Nigerian policemen to keep watch over him. He trekked on the streets of Lagos, surrounded by a few of his hosts"
I just hope that those already brainwashed will learn some lesson from this and get a better perception of potential personal and business relationships with Africans and especially Nigerians
